Before you apply or hire — Italy Lions does not verify employers or vacancies

Never pay for a job. A genuine employer does not charge you to apply, to be considered or to be hired. Anyone who does is running a scam — report them.
Never hand over original documents to an employer or an intermediary. Show them; do not surrender them.
Verify independently who the employer is, that the role is real, and what the pay, the hours and the conditions actually are.
Get a written contract before you start, and keep a copy. Work whose terms are kept deliberately vague is a warning sign.
Employers: list only work that genuinely exists, describe it truthfully, and comply with Italian employment and anti-discrimination law.
Unsure about a contract? Italy Lions cannot advise you — speak to a qualified adviser or a trade union. See the Terms and the Community Guidelines.
